Hello everyone,
I am new to this group. My husband has stage 4 adeno carcinoma with mets to his right hip. He is in a lot of pain although he's been prescribed 3 different pain killers at this point. He is receiving radiation to both his lung and hip 5 days/week, for 7 weeks; and chemo every 3 weeks. He's also doing Vit C, Flaxseed oil, Vits. A&D, systemic enzymes, Barley Green, juicing, fish oil, chondroitin and glucosamene, aloe vera juice, and Dr. Clark's parasite treatment program.
My biggest fear right now is that he has lost so much weight in such a short period of time. This can't be good. He's lost 30 pounds and was average to thin to begin with. Radiation oncologist gave him steroids and another script to help his appetite.
Also, I am not a big fan of chemo. Seems he's a lot worse now than before he started the chemo and radiation.
Question: Any of you have suggestions as to how he can better manage the pain in his hip? If he could only get some good sleep!!
Thanks for listening.
