Well we did it! We have always wanted to go white water rafting down the Grand Canyon, so I made our reservations for this June! It is crazy to 'wait' for this disease to catch up to us... we are going to give it a run for it's money! Roy is feeling well on the Tarceva. He's into week 15 now. We found out the diagnosis of NSCLC stage 4 this last Aug. It was devastating at first since he has always been a very healthy man, but with friends around the world praying for us... we are at peace with it and decided to just live life! We never wanted leave this world lying in a bed in a nursing home somewhere. We want to go out with our boots on, in a blaze of glory, screaming, "Wooo Hooo! What a ride!!" Stay strong my friends!
