Good Morning Everyone,
I don't post on her often, mainly because like many of you all.... I am swamped. I read every morning when I get the Inspire Email. It is the end of the school year (I am a Special Education Teacher) IEP's are due, end of the school year items are due, SOL's are next week and we have chemo every Thrusday for 3 week cycles. Oh Joy!
My mother got her biopsy finished last week and the it is andocarcimona in both lungs and lympnodes. (I think I spelled that right). The prognosis is not good, we luckily her dementia does not allow her to remember anything, the doctor nurse stated. Which to me is not the worse thing in the world. Mom had her first round of chemo and she walked out that piece like she had never ever had chemo. Her blood pressure was high, but we are working on it.
Everyone keeps asking me how am I doing? Everyone keeps asking me what is it that they can do, but as I have posted before, Lung Cancer is a MONSTER, but the Dementia is the BREAST! I continue to read your entries and continue to pray for all of you. I have made it my business to try to post and introduce this site to my family and close friends who help me deal with my moms condition. Much love to you all!
