I too had lung cancer, 7 years ago. We caught it early thank God, so they operated on me as quickly as possible. they remove the top half of my right lung and some limp nodes. Every year God blesses me by keeping me around for my four children. I am so glad I found this web site, I found it because I have a speech to give and I wanted to do one on how strong surviors are even against some times all the odds. I also want to express how much courage that our caretakers have. I think sometimes we forget just how wonderful they really are in our recovery.
