I was diagnosed with lung cancer about 6 weeks ago. I felt helpless and hopeless after seeing the tumor from the CAT scan and even more when I went online to read up on lung cancer. With conventional medicine they said there was only a 14% survival rate of 5 years. I am a few months short of 70 years old but I didn't like the odds.
Over the years I have had friends die of cancer and some I think that the chemo and radiation killed them. At anyrate I knew I was not going to go the orthodox medicine way. By the way, my Doctor is very unhappy with me about this decision. He somhow feels he has the knowledge of what is best for me. It is not logical to me to put toxic drugs or radiation or even surgery to get rid of cancer. Somehow that just does not add up to me so I began my research into alternative medicine and it is truely amazing what I have found. Ther are many Doctors and some Oncology Doctors that think the same way.
I first started with changing my diet to organic raw fruits and veggies. As my research continues I adjust my diet and I am feeling much better. The pain is gone. The caughing is much less. I am breathing much better. The fear and hopeless that I had is leaving and I am begining to feel confident in what I am doing.
When I was looking for a support group I ran across this website and reading it I found that most if not all are using orthodox medicine. I was so sad to see what everyone was going through and the love ones they have lost. I don't know if what the end results of my alternative medicine will be but I feel more hopeful about it than the conventional way. I will be happy to share my research with anyone.
I wish the best to you all.
