Hi Everybody, I just want you all to know even being out over 9 yrs since my diagnosis. I still have anxiety over these once a year check ups with my pulmanologist. No where near as bad as before but still there. I hope this gives at least those of you who have the scaniety we all do.- John

You are such an inspiration, Thank you so much for the positive encouragement. I will pick my Dad up from the hospital on Friday, surgery went well but still need to get the tests back to see whats next.

John, glad to know that I am "normal" I too am having scanxiety I go tomorrow for my three month scans. It is going on two years and I don't know why but I am more nervous now than I was before.....so as I pray for you please do the same back...

My shoes are still on - and I need the exercise - so I am expecting your news will keep me dancing! I think calling for the results is an excellent idea! I don't think I could keep dancing until Monday!!! (Besides, didn't they already make a movie about that.... called 'They Shoot Horses, Don't They?' - I seem to remember it from a long time ago...... I am sure that I am dating myself now.....).

So glad to hear about your good news -- congratulations! And thanks for the encouragement, too. I usually catch up on these forums every morning when I check the digest in my e-mail...but tonight I decided to stalk the boards. My dad's test results will be in on Thursday, and I'm a nervous wreck in the mean time. I was getting so frustrated with myself for worrying about news I may or may not receive, but your reassurance has helped.

Hi everybody, I just got back from the doc's and I'm clear. Great! I wasn't worried at all! Yeah, BS but I had to say it. lol 21/2 hrs late omg how I remember waiting for all the doc appt.s. I don't miss that. I finally get in to see the Man and he looks at the xray and says it looks good. Oh he says sorry this is from 2007. What?? I had the wrong one called up, he says. Ok I found the right one, todays date. I'm about to explode on him when he says looks just like 2007. Then he says take a look the look the same don't they. I'm thinking next year find a new guy. I never thought I'd ever think this but He's a kid! what the hell does he know! But the xrays did look just the same and after all these years I guess I do know what I don't want to see. So all's excellant in the world. I'm still here to smell the roses for a while longer. Thanks guys for all the support it really helped. I managed to keep my head on straight while I was doing all the waiting.
