I really think it is just a legacy anyone who has ever had this cancer has to live with forever.

The good news is- we really appreciate each day at a much more core level and it is PARTY TIME after those GREAT results come in.

And they will for you! Here's to your fine example that people DO live after lung cancer diagnosis.

Big hug !

Good luck with the checkups, John. I don't think we ever get over that anxious feeling no matter how many years we are out from our first cancer dx.

Best wishes,

Bette

Four years ago I had no idea of all the lessons cancer teaches along with the medical terminology.

One lesson I have yet to learn is how to be calm and cool about the annual scans, PETs and CTs that seem to un-nerve all of us if a scan in our past ever revealed an unexpected "mass".

All good wishes winging to you for continued good news.

Peggy

Hi everybody, I just got back from the doc's and I'm clear. Great! I wasn't worried at all! Yeah, BS but I had to say it. lol 21/2 hrs late omg how I remember waiting for all the doc appt.s. I don't miss that. I finally get in to see the Man and he looks at the xray and says it looks good. Oh he says sorry this is from 2007. What?? I had the wrong one called up, he says. Ok I found the right one, todays date. I'm about to explode on him when he says looks just like 2007. Then he says take a look the look the same don't they. I'm thinking next year find a new guy. I never thought I'd ever think this but He's a kid! what the hell does he know! But the xrays did look just the same and after all these years I guess I do know what I don't want to see. So all's excellant in the world. I'm still here to smell the roses for a while longer. Thanks guys for all the support it really helped. I managed to keep my head on straight while I was doing all the waiting.
Again , thanks- John
