Where is the "Write Your Senator" Form?

Hi Susan,

I was giving out the same URL to my friends about a week ago and it was working then. I just checked and it seems to be all different now.
Try this one (I hope it works for you). On this page, you have to fill in your postal code, then click on the "GO" button and it seems to bring up the letter that was on the original link you and I were both using before.

Let me know if it doesn't work and I'll try to find something else that will.

Hi Susan,

The form is still there. When you click on the site, click on Legislative Alerts and then on the next page click on Help Increase Funding and it brings up the page to fill in your zip code.

I sent emails to some of the places and changed the link to what Bev gave me because I am trying to make it as easy as possible so people will do it. Before it went right to that page, right Bev?

Hi Susan,

Yes, the link that you and I used earlier on used to go to the page with the prepared letter. No idea when that changed, but I think the people I sent my email to had already visited it and sent letters to their senators (at least they said they did!). I agree that it's very important to have a link that goes to a page that makes it dead easy for someone to email their senator. If they have to search around for the right page, they probably won't bother.

S.3187 is now in the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP). We are targeting members of this committee to enlist their support. The legislation needs to be passed out of the HELP committee before it hits the Senate floor.
