... cat scan came back showing a baseball size tumor in my left lung with plueral effusion and some enlarged lymph nodes. Dx sclc-ld.

Fast forward 2 years.

I just came back from a hell week (due to the tests being scheduled within days of one another and the scanxiety that comes with them).

CT scan came back clean (NED). MRI results were mixed: no new mets, some mets disappeared, some decreased in size and two were slightly larger (Dr. thinks it is the radiation causing them to swell). So overall good news.

No tests until the New Year!

WTG, keep up the fight. Take care, JC

Fight on! I have SCLC (borderline limited stage) am now collecting Social Security Disability -- cannot work -- does anyone know of any entities who have good financial assistance programs for those of us with SCLC? Please help.

so happy for yo9u, I swear i think this onth is the one to have CT scans all are coming back with good results. We have a prayer vigil going on nightly at 8pm EST. It is to ask god to oput all of us with lung cancer into a remission untiol the cure for lung cancer finally comes out the end of this year! I and we are askinggod for this cure this fast, so far this month it looks as if he has heard our prayers, and finally we are being answered, so many in remission, stable, and NED. so we can't ask for better than this, except a cure. What will come next, keep praying everyone around this world sowe can eradicate it once and for all!

God bless Sandy
