I'm very sorry for your loss. Sounds like your Dad had as much trouble as my Mom did. I know he's at peace now. You try to be too.

You did everything you possibly could, Lisa. It went so fast for your Dad and it seemed like nothing was going to slow the beast. I hope you find solace in knowing he won't have to go through any more suffering.

My heart-felt sympathy for you and your family in this time of loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my Mom to this dreadfull disease 5 months ago today. The days ahead will be tough but I want you to know that you WILL make it. Take it hour by hour... day by day. Your sweet and wonderful Father is now disease and pain free! Try to take some comfort in that even though I know it's hard. That is what got me through it!

Take care!

I am very sorry for the loss of your dad to this awful disease. I lost mine over a year ago to extensive SCLC.

Your dad was lucky to have such a loving daughter, and you were lucky to have him. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Lisa,
I am so sorry for the loss of your precious dad. You have been through an awful three months, and I pray that you will find peace, rest and strength in the days ahead. I hope you will find some comfort knowing your dad is pain free and whole again. That's the image I have of my mom, who lost her battle in December. In fact, when she passed, my then 8 year old son told me he had had a dream that his Grandma's cancer was all gone, and that her hair grew back and she looked just like she used to. I told him, yes, that's how Grandma will be in heaven. And so that is the memory of her that I carry with me, and I try to forget about the awful last few months of her illness. I know that is how she wants to be remembered.
You have a difficult road ahead, but you will be okay. You will find great comfort from your friends on this site. Just take it a day at a time.
Hugs,
Tracy
