Thankful we all have each other here

We all are so lucky to have each other here at this web site. You all must think about the support we have given each other here. How much love is shown every day by and for people who have never met but share a horrible and evil illness. But we must keep in mind that on our worst day, the love and careing from others that I know we can feel in our darkest hours. Anyway, everyone pat your self on the back, smile and know that WE are all loved and lovers. Thanks for everything folks. Larry Schroeder

hey, Larry,
I've missed you lately - how are you doing?
big hugs,
Pat

What a great post!
Hi Larry, I don't think we've met. I'm Marg. My husband, Mike, is fighting sclc, and so far he is winning.

Anyway, just wanted to say, thanks for that post. It's good to find another thing to be thankful for.

Hey Larry, I knew you were special, even before I saw your last name!!! I am Schroder, (just like you, minus the e before the d), so we are kind of kindred souls.... even if the beast did not make us so already!
I, like you, get so much support from this site. It is sad that the wonderful people we meet here have met for such an horrid reason.... But maybe that is the way it was meant to be. In my life, no one knows what the beast does except the people who have been touched by this horror.

Thank you Larry for your gift of words.

Erin

HI Larry,
AMEN!!!!!!!!!!

Larry - I think you said it for all of us - I don't think a lot of us could go through what we are without this site and the wonderful people on it. Definitely something to be thankful for.

, Hi Larry,

Thanks for writing such an awesome post. It is so comforting to know when something comes up there are people who understand and really care! When new people find the site and are able to share and to get answers to their questiions, that is priceless. God Bless you all...We are beating this nasty disease!!!!
Hugs
Sandy

Thanks for such a great post .. the people on here are inspiring and gave me hope when i thought all hope was lost! it is sad that it often takes tragedy for people to reach out to one another, but so wonderful that we do. Thanks to everyone on the site who has posted and lightened someone's day, even if only a little bit (or a lot!).

Yes, I am immensely grateful for this site and all the people who make it work and who rush to help others with their words, whenever they can.

I don't know any other place that remotely resembles our "Inspire." Thank you to all who are responsible for it, and to all who take time out of their lives to try to help others.

Warm thoughts to all, Barbara

Hi Larry,

I had thought about you last week and intended to send you an email. It's great to see a post from you. I hope you are feeling ok. Email me privately when you get a chance.

Take care,

Bette

Larry, it's great to see you around. You are so right on about this place we call home. I mean it's been years for me but it feels so good to be in the midst of such kindred spirits. John

Hi Larry,
It is a great feeling to feel the love on this site. I needed support today more than ever. Thank goodness for this site and the wonderful people that have posted feelings of fight. I was about ready to give up today, but I am ready to pick myself up now after tuning in today.

Janet

Dear Larry,
I had not read a post from you in a long time. I'm glad to know you're still fighting the good fight. I'm also glad that you are still counting your blessings.

I always tell people that there is a wonderful online support group for me to go to. They are like, "really?" They just can't imagine how wonderful it is. They only think how horrible the disease is. To me, this website is a SUPPORT group in many ways.

Hi Larry,
I lost my beautiful wife (pictured here) a couple months ago to this terrible disease. I still come to the site for support just like she did, it's a crutch for us also. I know that since we often finished each others sentences, that this post is from her also.
Brian

Thank you, Larry, for articulating what I think all of us here feel. I'm awed by the love and compassion we share, as well as the hope and healing.

Thanks also for your brave public service. What would we do without people such as yourself willing to sacrifice all for the safety of others?

I read your profile and see we have something in common -- a love of flying, though I haven't flown in many many years.

I also read an earlier post where you talked about your "prognosis" and I completely agree with the others. As Lawrence LeShan, the author of "Cancer as a Turning Point" (one of my favorite cancer books) said, "Does your doctor have a golden telephone to God?" He tells the stories of many "terminal" patients who proved their doctors wrong. I encourage you not to let anything dash your hope and resolve!
Warm regards,
Lori

I couldn't have said it better.

Thank you Larry.

Love to all and a blessed holiday season.

This place that is not really a place has become an important place in my life.

Jim, you have really hit the nail on the head. I think we should use this as our slogan here on the inspire web site. Anyone else think so?
