Thank you oncology nurses on Today

0 Recommendations

I was so happy to see the oncology nurses yielding their signs for lung cancer awareness on the Today show this morning, thank you ladies. When Al Rooker asked what they were there for they said for lung cancer survivors and November is lung cancer Awareness and they were there to show their support. How wonderful of them. Al Rooker thanked them and said he appreciated their support to his family and his dad who died from lung cancer. Why is he not a spokesperson? Didn't Matt Lauers dad die from lung cancer also?? We need these guys support...time for those letters again. Thank you again nurses...it was great.

That is great--thanks for letting those of us who don't tune in know. Linnea

Dear Frency:

Thanks for your post. The oncology nurses are great! They were wonderful to me when I was undergoing chemo and wonderful afterwards. They continue to be there for me by answering on going questions, being of support and celebrating with me when my reports come in negative. Just hearing that they were carrying signs for us really touched my heart! They are the BEST!

It would be great if Al Roker or Matt Laur would get in the mix and use their prestige to come to bat for us, especially since they have personal experience with this disease and really know what it entails.

Blessings!
Brooklynda
