I started yesterday with the medicine taxotere troday iI woke up nice, have you ever been with taht medicine, and of course antialergicas too.
I had sis paltinum a gemzar last time and it was hard.

I was on cisplatin and taxotere. It was not fun. It was usually Day 4 to Day 13 that I felt the worst. After Day 13 I began to feel much better, of course this was just in time for another infusion.
The first 3 infusions were not bad for me. i have had more difficulty after the 4th infusion. I am using taxotere as a single agent.

Did you misssed your hair?.I l have 6 sections...Just have one...what can i expect?

Hi Regina:
I didn't have too many problems on taxotere (I had it with carboplatin and avastin). The worst was losing my tastebuds (but they'd come back after about a week or so until my last couple of treatments, then stayed away longer), and had chemo brain/fog and some body pains. I had taxol first and lost my hair, then was switched to taxotere and while on taxotere my hair started slowly growing back, so I think I might not have lost my hair on taxotere. Hopefully that will be the case for you.
