Hi All:
About a month ago, I had sent an email to the person in charge of our homeowner's association newsletter, asking her to add the lung cancer flyer to the community newsletter. I hadn't received a reply so I just assumed they wouldn't do it, but I received an email yesterday apologizing for the delay, that the board had to approve the request, and of course the full page would go into the newsletter! I am also going to send her a revised version for the November issue which informs readers that November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month (if any of you want that flyer, I can email it to you and/or I'll ask David if he can post that one on the www.helplungcancer.com website as well).
If any of you have the same type of community newsletter, it might be worth a shot to see if they will publish something on lung cancer awareness in their publication.
