Hello everyone, ok so my mom went back to the dr on Monday and they gave her 3 days of water pills to release some fluid....seemed to make her feel a little better she has only taken 1 pill because she was very nauseas and threw up some greenish/brown stuff..is that normal after starting chemo a week ago with no side effects since? Again she hasn't really been eating only a few bites a day and drinking very little. The swelling in her toes looks a little better to me but everywhere else still looks the same, she had gained the 10 lbs in 3 days last week, so in 5 days now she has lost 17 lbs....confused on this, is it weight? Or fluid? Because she still looks very swollen....also for 2 days now she has been coughing a very wet sounding cough...is it normal?
Thank you all for your help and support!!!

None of that sounds normal. I would suggest you call the oncologist and get her an appt tomorrow.
Good Luck.

THANK YOU, SHE ACTUALLY HAS ANOTHER APPT ON FRIDAY MORNING!

DON'T WAIT UNTIL FRIDAY, CALL THURSDAY. THIS IS NOT GOOD AND SHE NEEDS TO BE IN THE HOSPITAL.
Take care, JC

I agree, call the office today and see if she can get moved up to today.
