Scan Time Again

Well it is time again for my CT scans. I went last month for a brain MRI, my first since dx in 3/07. Tomorrow I go for my chest CT and the doc also ordered CTs of the abdomen and pelvis. I will get the results of the MRI and scans on 10/27, my next oncologist appointment.

I pray that the tests do not show any mets. Last CT showed the Tarceva was working and the nodule in my right lung was shrinking.

Thanks everyone. Just got back a little while ago. Now I will just wait for the results.
Had an appt with my GP last night and he isn't too pleased. I had my annual ECG and it was changed from last year. My triglyceride levels have doubled since my blood work early this year. My liver enzymes are high as well as my cholesterol. I had stopped taking the statins for the cholesterol because I was having bad muscle and joint pain. My oncologist thought it may have been the combo of the statins and the Tarceva. After I stopped taking them I haven't had the issue. So...now I have to get a stress test to see what is going on. I just have to try not to stress out too much over it. Geez.

My doc is very thorough which is good thing. It is due to his methods that my cancer was dx at an early stage.

Has anyone had similar experience with high triglycerides, cholesterol and enzymes due to Tarceva?

Thanks to all for the continued prayers. I really do not know how I managed before I found this site. I feel so close to everyone here. We lay our hearts, souls, dreams, fears and feelings out there and there is always some one there to talk to. I love you all from the bottom of my heart.
