Question on complementary therapies

We've been seeing some "inegrative oncologists" and gotten some contradictory advice. I'm wondering if any of you has any experience with the following:

--Off label use of Biaxin (the antibiotic) or Celebrex (the cox-2 inhibitor/painkiller)

--Chines herbs in general and specifically Fucoidan (sea weed) or Coriolus-PSP (mushrooms)

I'm interested in anything that improves survival or enhances quality of life. We have tried accupuncture, reike, and accupressure with mixed results.

"Natural Stratagies For Cancer Patients" by Russell L. Blaylock, M.D. is my main supplement guide. I receive accupunture once weekly and have found it very helpful. The trick is to find a good one. I tried another when mine was in China for a couple of weeks. I found him greedy, indifferent, mediocure. Keeping hydrated at all times is important. Protein with each meal aids healing. Moderate exercise daily helps immune system. I use beta glucans and various mushrooms.
