Proclamation in WV

Just received phone notification from Gov. Manchin's office that he did, indeed, proclaim November Lung Cancer Awareness month. The governors rep says that the proclamation was issued in Sept., and that they mailed it to me on the 7th of that month. I never received that, so they are resending. When asked if they issued a press release concerning the proclamation, he said no, if they did that they would be issuing 15 press releases every day, and that it was up to the support groups to do advertising. He also asked that I notify the newspapers that I had sent my Letter to the Editor to. My letter was never published in the two papers in my area. I will try to honor his request.
