Pneumonia

Apologies if this has been discussed ad naseum and I just haven't found it.

As part of the "new normal," I'm anticipating being at high risk for pneumonia. I've had it twice in the past 10 years, had a VATS on 21 May 09 for URL (stage 1A), and just "finished" a 2-4-week pneumonia spell and missed work for 2 weeks. Going back tomorrow; even though I feel a ton better after a Z-pack, still wheezy sometimes and know fluid is lurking in there.

Aside from very blatantly telling sick folks to get away from me ;-> and washing my hands constantly, does anyone have a propensity for pneumonia and a "trick up their sleeve" they think is helpful to keeping it at bay?

I found the OTC Mucinex to really help a lot with no negative side effects for me. One thing I've thought about is taking that the same way I take Airborne--at the first indication of any itty-bit of getting a cold per box instructions.

Oh, and I had the pneumonia vaccine, but no help apparently.

Thanks a bunch, Dana.

What do y'all do about this?

Hi Dana,

You might try Dr. Schultz's Super Tonic, the recipe is online, it can also be purchased. We make batches twice a year & give it to friends who are glad to be on the receiving end. This tonic is antibiotic, antiviral, anti-fungal & anti-parasitic.

Best regards,
MaryMac

Here is the actual site. Take care, JC

Hi Dana:

Well, since I was BACK in my doctor's office again today, he once again stressed the hand washing and/or using hand sanitizer and said to make sure the sanitizer has at least 62% alcohol.

Second thing he wanted me to do because of this post nasal drip and to ward off INCOMING little !@#$% s
Get a nasal saline spray and use it often. Of course he was also pushing a Neti pot but I know from experience that I cannot do that.

I'm spraying the house with lysol, trying to keep all things creepy off door knobs. It isn't easy. I AM going to do the nasal spray often and HOPE it works.

Love to all,
Marylou
