Hi everybody,
Let's put on our dancing shoes. I got my results yesterday and my tumor has shrunk from 2.8cm to 1.5cm. I am a hapy camper. I'll going to wait and celebrate on Halloween.
I was so excited when I got home yesterday to tell you all the good news, then I had a little set back. I got a pneumonia shot while I was there. Well, they said that spot may be a little sore so I didn't think too much about it. Later I went to take a look at my arm and it was really swollen and I started running a fever. Has anyone ever had this type of reaction?
Anyway, I want to wish everybody a Happy Halloween. Thank you all so much for all your thoughts and prayers. My prayers have been answered. Thanks again. Karen

YAY YAY, KAREN !! SHRINKING IS GREAT !! You bet it's time to *************Happy Dance ************** and party !!

Next scan NED !!!

I have never had the pneumonia shot, so I can't say about that, but I did have a flu shot last year that made me sick for a week. I am on other meds right now, so I can't take any vaccines at all.

BUT **********I CAN STILL DANCE***************** Journey, "Don't Stop Believing"

Much Love,
Marylou

Dongrats! Happy Dance Time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congradulations, on your scan.... I am happy it is getting smaller. Keep on fighting...... As far as the pneumonia shot, my are was really sore for several days but not really any swelling or fever. Are you ok now?

God Bless

Wonderful news on the scan. Not sure about that reaction on the arm I guess this is one of the possible side effects. Take care, and many more good scans for you too.
God bless Sandy

Dear Karen: For Halloween you got the "treat" instead of the "trick". I'm dancin' with my broom! Shrinking is real gooood! Congratulations!
Blessings!
Brooklynda

Great news Karen - Definately treat yourself to something good, not good for you! Hope you are feeling better. The only reaction I had from my shot was a really sore arm.
Keep on Dancing!

That is FABULOUS news!!! Keep the celebration going!!!!! I am very happy for you.

I got the pneumonia shot too and my arm hurt like crazy but I don't think I ran a temp. Maybe you want to call your doc and ask about that reaction?

Hugs.

Phyllis

Hi MaryLou,
Thank you so much for your support. I finally feel better today. I won't even consider a flu shot. Everytime I get one of them, I get the flu. I don't think I'll ever get another pneumonia shot after this reaction.
Anyway, you have a Happy Halloween. We are going to the Renaissance Festival down here for Halloween so I'll be getting my turkey leg. Ha!
Thanks again. Karen

Good Morning Stage 1,
I appreciate your concern. Yes, I am finally feeling better today. Now, I have to get ready to go to a funeral that is out of town. One of my former aunts. Just what I wanted to do. Ha! Thanks again. Take care. Karen

Hi cuddles,
It is always good to hear from you. Thank you so much for thinking about me. I feel better today. Take care. Karen

Good morning Brooklynda,
You are so funny but it is so true. I finally got a treat and I'm going to try to hang on to that one. Now its time for me to go do some tricks and celebrate. Ha!
Thanks for responding. Take care. Karen

Dear Cindi,
You are so sweet to be so concerned. It means so much to me to have so much support from you all. I am so happy that I am ready to go do some somersaults. As you can probably tell, I feel so much better today. Thanks again and take care. Karen

Hi Pleiades,
Thanks for sharing my victory. As far as my arm, I did try to call my doctor that night, and it took two hours for a doctor(not mine) to call me back. He just told me to put a warm towel over my arm and take some tylenol for my fever so I guess it wasn't all that big of a deal, although he said that he has never heard of anyone reacting to this shot in that way. Anyway, I feel better now. Thanks again. Karen

For those of you that I did not get around to thanking personally, I feel greatly honored to have your support. It means the world to me. I need to run off to get ready for a funeral so I hope everyone has a Happy Halloween. I'll try to get back this evening. Karen
