PCI smells, sights, tastes

0 Recommendations

Just completed my second session of PCI. While the radiation is on I smell ozone and see blue strobe lights. If I open my eyes the blue strobe stops. The techs say they have heard of this. They also mentioned that some claimed a metallic taste.
Just wondering if anyone else is having these experiences.

As a matter of fact my husband said he always had the mettallic taste and saw blue lights also. He was told it was effects on the ocular nerve (?). So you aren't REALLY going nuts ! LOL

I saw the lights too- and the smell to me was a very strong smell that I only could describe as bleach or the air during a thunderstorm. The techs said that almost everyone has an experience smelling and/or seeing something!
