Hi All,
just completed an abseil at the weekend down a hotel in my home town for an assistance dog for an autistic child.
We had a great day in the freezing cold it was minus 1.
We raised approx Euro 20,000.
I did it in fancy dress as you can see as Captain America.

it was for a 3 year old autistic boy, thanks to everyone he will now get his dog.
We will be swimming in The Irish Sea on 26th Dec thats the next charity event for Irish Lung Fibrosis association.
Here is last years I was counting down, 4 weeks after my operation.Another cold day.

Niall, Man you are just crazy! I have to admit that I always wanted a Captain America suit but my wife says "yeah 30 yrs ago it would have been something , now your more like Santa Claus". I don't know what she means by that ? After all these years though if I can get a reaction then Santa Claus it is!!!

But look at the smile on my face.
Same date last year I was on a hospital bed having a lobectomy, that was why I was smiling so much.

They let you wear PJs in European hospitals? In the US they give men & women these silly little gowns that don't cover anything....I think they are made to fit little ladies about 100 lbs.
They do because they do not want to provide patients with gowns.
