I just wanted to thank you all for letting me ask and learn about my Dad. It has been determined that the primary site of this go around of cancer, is pancreatic, large mass in pancreas, spread thu-out the liver. Lung cancer from 5 yrs. ago more than likely had nothing to do with it they told us, lungs are clear. They said there's nothing to do, he isn't a surgical candidate, he won't do chemo, and they don't think it'll help anyway. We are exploring alternative methods, have started him on milk thistle, curcumin, trying to get him alkaline as much as possible, cut back sugar, and going to do some organic juicing....any other suggestions would be very much welcome, altho I know this is a lung cancer site! We are devastated.

There are several good books on alternative cures. One is the Gersen Diet (think I spelled it right) which recommends coffee ememas....don't laugh. If you read the book it makes perfectly good sense. Cut out all suger, not just some. No white food. Turns into sugar (feeds cancer) Blueberrys and Rasberrys kill cancer cells and keeps them from forming a blood supply. Raw vegetables best. There is a couple of people on this site that have opted for no chemo and are eating this way. Also, get on line about LDN. one Tablet per day. Just read about it. Jim on this site is taking it with great success.

Finding this information is a full time job. I have been doing it for my sister

I am so, so sorry you are going thru this. I hope that you can get him stable and give him some more time...maybe even years. God bless you and good luck.
