My Mike has passed away

0 Recommendations

My husband Michael passed away yesterday morning after a 15 month battle with small cell lung cancer. He is in a better place now and is no longer in pain. I just wanted to thank everyone on this website for their prayers, opinions, and information. I don't know what I would of done without this wonderful place to talk with others affected by cancer. My husband and I had so many questions during this journey and we always found someone with an answer. May God bless all those affected by cancer. Keep the faith and believe God will be there for you during your journey with cancer whatever type of journey that is. I still plan to keep an eye on the posts to see how others are doing. Thanks again for all the love, positive thoughts, and prayers.
Love, Kathrine

Katherine,
Your sweet husband is now whole and free of pain. He will be with you every moment of every day - he will share in your laughter and joy. He will meet lots of fun people from this website who entered heaven before him. We all watch out for each other on earth, and they do it in heaven too!
God be with you Katherine!

Dear Kathrine,
My deepest sympathy goes out to you. I pray for strength and peace for you in the coming days. My mother passed in December from SCLC after a 16 month fight. I know all too well how awful this disease is. I know this doesn't take away the pain, but please find comfort in knowing Mike is out of pain.
Love and prayers,
Tracy

Sheila
