He is still in the hospital because the biopsies made little holes in his lung and they have not completely healed yet. We know that this is the most common type of lung cancer, but his has manifested itself in a more uncommon way. He basically has a sheet of cancer covering the outside of his lung... Do any of you know of others who have had this type of manifestation? And if so.. what treatment did you have and how did it work? They thought it might be mesothelioma at first, but thankfully it is not. Just trying to find out all we can as we begin this fight with him. His oncologist is going to start chemo next week.. no radiation or surgery as the tumor is covering the whole lung.. Thanks for any advice you may have..
