What an amazing article. Thank you so much! I know you will keep up the fight!!

Marie,
Hello friend, I live in Middlebury...I just read the article and also visited the site for the audio. I am writing this with free falling tears and watched the audio journel and just fell apart. Not with total sadness but a mix of so many emotions. You are an inspiration, you are a soldier, you are truly a survivor.
My mom has been at the Lever Center for treatment for stage 3A lung cancer. (she was there on monday's) for six weeks. She finished four weks ago.
I am so sorry to hear you lost Dr Alphano (spellings a guess) . Mom and I heard such wonderful stories about this special doctor and friend, which he was to his staff and patients. The article was one of the most moving stories I have ever read in the Waterbury Paper. You really put everything into perspective, you inspired others to live on... yet I can't help but sit here and not cry. God Bless you Marie. Thankyou for sharing!!!

Marie, you inspire me so much. GOD bless you and your loved ones. I was diagnosed about 8 months ago, and it has not been easy. Did chemo, and radiation, now they want to do more chemo. as if it is the only answer. I dont know if they know, weird that the people who supposedly know the best, dont know much. Keep me informed, god bless!!!!!!!!!!!

Marie,

I hope the Gemzar is working and that it keeps working for a long time. You have a lot of living to do yet!

I was interested in finding this article...but it took me some time to locate the address, which is:
http://www.rep-am.com/slideshows/mariemm/

It is a terriffic story and should inspire many lung cancer victims to fight on and live well while you can!

Thanks Marie and Happy Thanksgiving!

Some people were able to get on the site with the info I gave them. Others like yourself and I, included couldn't get on through the link you posted. Thanks I will try again so it is easier to pass on this info.
I appreciate the reply. Good luck in your fight
