Mom's Memorial Service Was Yesterday

That sounds very meaningful. I remember from your previous posts that you are a very caring family. My sympathy to all of you.

oh, Anita,
I'm so glad everything turned out so beautifully! You did your mom proud with this.

My dad ushered at many funerals - there was one song, "On Eagles' Wings" that they play at almost every funeral service, and daddy didn't care for that song, but would come home singing it after every funeral, and then joke about hoping the eagle would run into something, stun itself, and quit coming to each funeral. For his service, the played three songs he totally adored - and, of course, we asked her to play "On Eagles' Wings" to give everyone something to sing about on the way home - we knew he'd be singing along up in heaven...

I hope all your songs bring happy memories to you as well.

Memories. What a wonderful thing the Lord created was memories. I am so pleased the day went well and you found comfort in her service. May God continue to give you and your entire family comfort as you move forward after this phase, knowing that she is always watching over you. And believe me, she is. Hugs Jolene

plz pray for me the same , as my mom i lost it in the month of august 14th, ie in bangalore india, due to advaned sateg of adenocarcinoma of lung, she was like a great godesses to we all. but what to do its all our fate , that we lost her, plz
give me some advise to remeber her good things what i ahve to do society, plz advice me

My condolences on the loss of your mom last month. Some things that are helping me are:

attending a griefshare group (griefshare.org)
preparing an area with her photos, clothes and momentos
giving myself time to grieve
