my mothers social worker has suggested she take mirtazapine Anybody familiar with this??? i am going to go to scotland real soon to help out but just wanted to find out about this and help advise her.

Do you know why she is suggesting this drug? Here is a link, I'd read the side effects. Take care, JC

i am not positive but she isnt eating very well has thrush and tired all the time she has a tumor but they dont want to do a biopsy so we are not sure what kind. She also gave up smoking so is very depressed. Poor thing she needs something but i am not sure if this drug would be the answer.

Why don't you post it on cancergrace.org and let the specialists help you out. I don't like all the side effects from this drug. Take care, JC
