Mid-way CT Scan Results

0 Recommendations

I got back the results of my scan today and mets to liver has improved considerably in numbers and size, while the 3 tumers in the chest have also been reduced in size, one of which, went from 5cm to 1.2 cm.  Most importantly, no new areas found thus far, which is my biggest fear when waiting for the results.  So over all I am happy with the results since I still have another 3 rounds to go, but I will reserve any happy dances until the 6 rounds are completed as we all know, this beast can do a 180 on you in a second :)

I will do the happy dance for you. Anytime shrinking happening with SCLC, that is positive!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mine just kept skrinking until you could not see it.. Positive thoughts, I know this beast can change but I think that is great news and deserves some dances.

Thats great news..you should be real pleased..I hope the treatments work ok with you too..Your right also about 180's ..but still be postive..after my first line of 5 chemos (was all I could handle) it started growing again after 2 months..well ,my second line treatment is shrinking it very nicely again, plus it's been (knock on wood)
much more agreable on me.. I felt well enough to actually play 9 holes of golf on Fathers day with my wife and 2 boys!!!I Never thought I would play again!..so like you said there are 180's but by keeping positive we can knock this small cell cancer out for a while yet and get the 180's goin our way!I'm pullin for ya.keep it up..sometimes it's no fun but the fights worth it..never give up.
