I think about Mickey in Korea too and hope he's okay. Mickey, please let us all hear from you - we care.

Here's hoping no news is good news:

Are you talking about Mickyinko - he responded to my post on April 27 "I guess I have made my decision" a couple of days ago (page 3). He is out of hospital for two weeks - had kidney removed - fighting hard. Check my post.

Hugs, Sylvia

Thanks for your response. Glad to hear he is recovering. You have been on quite a journey yourself. Best of luck with your new treatment!

Thanks Munker - I will fight hard. Hope you found Micky's post to my post. He is a fighter!

Sylvia

Yes. he is and so are you! I hear people complain constantly about minor aches pains and I think about all the people on this site that suffer horribly from this beast. Makes me angry but I try to channel my energy in to raising money to find a cure!

Thanks Sylvia,
I have been wondering where Mickey has been also. I did not know anything about his kidney, but glad to know he is doing ok. I've had lots of stuff going on here and not on as much as usual. I really miss all of you guys.
Much Love,
Marylou

if anyone talks to him...please let him know he is thought of often, and lots of folks are keeping him in their prayers.

thanks,
deb

Hi Guys,
So sorry I haven't been on lately but after the surgery to have my right kidney removed I had a lot of pain but was back at work 6 days after the operation. During the subsequent period I have been putting a new syllabus together for our school curriculum, therefore I have had very little time to respond or write in my journal. After work each day all I wanted to do was sleep so I am really sorry for not keeping you up to date on what is going on. I saw the doc last week and everything seems fine he said and he is going to do a CT scan later in the month to see if I need to go back on Chemo but all blood tests etc don't give any indication that any thing is wrong, so keeping fingers crossed for a good result at the end of the month, can't really handle the thought of going through chemo yet again but I probably will if necessary cos "I really, really love my wife so much".
Anyway take care guys and thanks so much for thinking about me it brought tears to my eyes and that is a very hard thing to do. god bless you all.
Lots of love Micky

Hi Munker,
So sorry for not being around. Please see my posting
Best regards Micky

Wow. back to work in six days! I think you are a Super Human! Try to get as much rest as possible and I pray that all goes well with your tests.
