My husband had stage IV nsclc. It was the massive lymphangenic spread that took him. His tumors were all shrinking from the chemo-taxotere and avastin-but the lymph spread could not be stopped. What do the doctors say about your situation?

Thanks so much for your reply.....
My mom was just told her sclc has spread throughout her lymph system... She is having pain, 1 to 10 about a 5. We see the oncol on Wed. 10/28, I fear the worst... but she has beat the odds in living 16 months past original diagnosis, so I am thankful for this time. Lymph spread is grim... so I'm preparing....

Hi There
Yes thats what I would say for your mom to do.That's
what I have always done.I was dx'd 2 years ago extensive stage small cell lung cancer.and just recently after a set back with brain radiiation and trial
chemo in pill forms ..well its not the best but i'm still hangin in there..so don't give up the fight!..keep it up..
I'll say my prayers for you all.
