My husband and I are in the hospital emergency room right now because he was having pain in his abdomen.(It is very swollen). We thought he might have fluid in his lungs and that the pleurodesis he had didn't work. But that is not the case. They are going to do a CT scan to see what's going on. I am so scared of what they might find. Please put some prayers out there for my husband and our family. This website has always been such a support for me. I'm trying to stay positive but it's the unknown that freaking me out.

Thank you everyone for your wonderful prayers. Mike got admitted into the hospital because they believe that he has a huge gas bubble in his intestines. (Could be because of the surgery and all the pain meds he's taking). I sure hope that's all it is. He getting a CT scan right now just to make sure there is nothing else going on. Hopefully there's nothing else going on and he can start his next round of chemo soon. I appreciate all your kind thoughts and I will keep you posted.

My prayers are with you. God will bless you.

I just wanted to give everyone an update on my husband. His cancer has spread and things don't look that great. Our onc still believes that we have options which I'm glad to hear. Mike did have success with the chemo that he has been doing recently but he hasn't had chemo for the last month because of his surgery and blood counts. We are going to go home and rest tomorrow and then do chemo on Friday. Hopefully this will shrink the tumors so he has less pain. Thank you all for your prayers and I would love to have more.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and Mike! I hope that he gains strength and can tolerate the chemo soon!
Take care
Nannette
