I was looking on the LCA website and saw that in 2009, the CDC gave $205 million to breast cancer and a big nothing to lung cancer. So I wrote them a letter asking them why. I put in the letter some facts about how lung cancer takes more lives, the difference in survival rates, and I asked that they not reply with how much money they spend each year on anti-tobacco ads and education as that does not help the non-smoker that gets lung cancer. Ok, I am an ex-smoker, but I didn't tell them that. They should give out funding fairly. If and when they reply, I will post it.
Blessings,
Barb
