YES! Wonderful article.

GOD BLESS
Janet

Betsy,
Excellent article...informative and succinct...wish every local newspaper across the US would publish it and the ACS would include it on their Lung Cancer awareness display tables this November. Congrats!
Marcia

Wonderful! Thank you!

Now start gathering names and addresses of all the other Letter to the Editors you can find online and send it along .... many if not most papers have a way to submit these online.

:)

Succinct and covers it.Thank you.AndiB

Great work and what a breakthrough that it got printed!

Great job! I am going to send to my local paper

Granny,
Yes,you are absolutely right. It was V. easy (even for a computer idiot like me). Just went to my local papers website, found the Letter to Editor section, and sent it in. Hit a few other papers too.Even a "Dear Amy" columnist...
I also have a wonderful flyer that was created by our beloved SusanL. It's a great hand-out in full color -For LCAM.I have it in an e-mail sent to me by Susan's husband-I've been mailing individual hard copies to friends but would like to make it accessible to everyone-Any ideas how to to this? THX

That's great! Congratulations. Can you imagine if all of us wrote articles to all our local papers and got published? At some point, the major media would have to stand up and take notice!
Thanks, Betsy, for your efforts on all our behalf!
Pat

Pat & Everybody,
YES! I can imagine if we all sent in letters. Now's the time to hit it...Right before OCTOBER & just in time for LCAM.C'mon guys-Let's Rock n' Roll...

I have a friend in the media with a list of addresses and contacts for all the media outlets in the L.A. / O.C. area. You have inspired me, and I am going to write a similar article and do a mass mailing to them all. I'll let you know how it goes. I'm sorry if I'm clueless, but what is LCAM?

You GO Pat! LCAM= Lung Cancer Awareness Month...

Great article! I posted it to my facebook page so that I can too help to get the message out there, I have a great number of friends who will help spread this message too!

Sorry, I reread - so that Lung Cancer Awareness Month. I forgot! And I think I will just send out your own article to the papers on my list if you don't mind, since there is nothing better I could add.

Terrific job! Great work, BetsyT!

Excellent article Betsy, so professional. We need to get on the band wagon with articles like these, I think it is a great idea for all of us to add what we can, and what we are good at, I am real good at bullshi--- so I can adjust accordingly, LOL.
god bless
Sandy
