My husband has a diagnosis of 3A nsclc, and received sugery 2 months ago (resected). He is now on 16 weeks of chemotherapy + radiation. As he is about to receive radiation after 8 rounds of chemotherapy, and have done a CT scan for a mold to be used in radiation. The CT scan shows some enlarged lymph node, the doctor asks him to a PET scan. I am so scared, he is on chemo now. How would that happened? Would the enlarged lymph node caused by infection? Can anyone help?
