Thanks for sharing this, I signed up with them. I was so tired, and unable to clean my house when I was on chemo, this is such a great idea. I signed up to recieve info on it through e-mail becuase I will recommend it to anyone I know taking chemo.. I know how hard I had it, and would have loved to call someone like this to help me. Thanks again, this could help so many.

We had a cleaning service for a few months last year. A family member was kind enough to pay for a twice a month cleaning. I wish we had known this was available!

Thank you so much for posting this site. I visited it, but it really seems to be ONLY for women with Cancer.
But will be great for all of the girls on this site!
My husband has Cancer, not me. I am just the one who cleans, does laundry, cook and prepare all meals, research day and night, make all the appointments, study nutrition for Lung cancer pts, apply for all the assistance, provide 24 hour moral support, pretend nothing is wrong when Everything is wrong, assure my husband it will be alright, he WILL Live, pay the bills, find the newest treatments, locate the very best doctors, Get so much support here, and try to give a little back, grocery shop, yard work, keep the family informed on how he feels and the next scan or treatment, ask everyone in my path to pray, juggle the finances, worry myself sick..literally, try and organize a Fund Raiser for his his upcoming surgery, apply for assistance for co-pays, precriptions etc., contact the Oncologist with any symptoms he has or meds he needs, make all doctor appts, go to the pharmacy,...
Truly, I do this out of Love! I am sure there are Soo many spouses or loved ones out here doing the same.
I am NOT complaining, I am just exhausted and cant sleep.
Hugs to All the Super Hero's here who actually fight this beast! I can't imagine being alone and fighting this, you deserve more than your house cleaned!

Thank you for the info, I went to the site and applied. This is a great thing that they do. I too wondered why only women. I know there are spouses like Holly out there working themselves to the bone handling everything plus caregiving which is a full time job and emotionally draining. And there are people like the man in my support group who has no one but his cat. (I love my cats, but they are not much help). Seems like an oversight...
Yes, I hope some guy applies and pushes the issue and wins!!
Me too. I suspect they just aren't aware of how draining and time consuming caregiving is and that not every man has a caregiver.
Housecleaning for a reason! Wow what a nice idea! What is the web site again so I can pass it on? Thanks.
Owesly, it's still the same as above:
