Great American Smoke Out

This is not really a discussion, I'm just here to rant and rave. I, like everyone else, have sympathy for those with breast cancer. November is LUNG cancer awareness month, butt out. I just saw yet another segment on breast cancer on a talk show. Are they going to do them right up to Smoke Out Day? If it's American Smoke Out Day what's the big problem with these govenors declaring it National Lung Cancer month?
I will post again shortly about my visit with the onc yesterday, dealings with socical security, MD Anderson, and our HR dept at work. I might say some bad things if I don't calm down first.
I've had low blood pressure since June but I believe they have gone and raised it!!!

Julie, I agree. I am very concerned about breast cancer, because my mom and grandma both died from it, so it is my future, but HOLY COW, it's not all about Breast Cancer. This is LUNG CANCER AWARENESS MONTH. I'm so tired of feeling like Mike is looked down on because he got lung cancer.

I have written my US Senator, (I only have one now because my other one is busy getting ready to be Pres.)my US Congressman, my state Senator and my state Congressman. Only one has returned my email, and I am meeting with him on Dec 9.

I got my work to put together an article about radon testing and Lung Cancer Awareness month.

Stepping down from my soapbox.
