Congratulations to a great person, who could ask for better than this??? I pray you have many more scans that are NED. I bet you are cured now!! May I ask you if you had many symptoms of things? Did you think it was going to be clear, or were you worrying too? God bless Sandy

Ok, somebody pass me my prozac now.
Love to all,

Dear Sandy: Thanks for your good wishes. When you asked if I had many symptoms of things, I am not clear about what symptoms when. I'd be glad to answer if you want to elaborate. And as far as the worrying goes, I feel good, but I always worry coming up on a scan (sometimes more than others for whatever reason). I want to hear the words from my doctor right away. (He always says ok no small talk first and then tells me my results). I try to approach it with "cautious optimism", never thinking it would be impossible for the beast to come back. I'm trying to "guard the door" by making gradual changes in taking better care of my health - physically, mentally and spiritually. I know there are no guarantees, but I'm so grateful for what I've been given. I'm wishing you the very best results on your scan and I know how relieved you'll be to get it out of the way. Keep us posted - you are in my prayers. Blessings! Brooklynda

I was wondering if you too get the aches and pains and think to yourself it is cancer back, or I should say do you also have it in the back of your mind all the time. I know I am 3 1/2 years with being stable, so not far behind you, and I still get the feeling that it is probably back hisden in some corner of my body and I wonder if other people think like this too. I am wondering if you get any headaches at all, do your lungs seem to fill with fluid at times, and then be suddenly gone and no wheezing, do your ankles, and legs swell up at times, do you have stomach pains, or back pains when you bend over to paint or do things. Just some things I get from time to time. Are you able to do much more than housework, Can you take walks or are you really short of breath. I am on oxygen and also very short of breath, I always have trouble with on again off again wheezing sounds in the lungs, just am wondering how alike or how different we are. Sorry for all of the questions, but I want to see if I am similiar to others on here. I am a stage lV, are you also?
I just wish I could live for the day today and stop always looking into the future. I alwasy day if I knew I was going to have this uch time left I would have done some things differently, yet here I am doing things the same as if tomorrow my news will be bad. I can't rest really with this illness, and I wonder how if they can others do it. Thanks from Sandy
