Flyer is Finished, Website is Up and Running

5 Recommendations

The flyer/poster is finished and the website is up. The website address is: www.helplungcancer.com. At the website, there is a link to write your senators to support the Lung Cancer Mortality Reduction Act, as well as a link to download the flyer/poster. If you print out the poster, it looks best on glossy photo paper. More information/pictures, etc., may be added at a later date.

I want to thank all of you for your input as I was creating this flyer, and I especially want to thank David for obtaining, registering and putting all of the information on the website, and Jeannine for making my poster look eyecatching and professional (and James for volunteering Jeannine).

If for some reason you can't download the poster, I'd be happy to email you a copy, just send me an email to shlaurents@gmail.com.

This weekend I will be writing cover letters and sending the flyer to all major TV networks, local and national news programs, morning and evening news shows, talk shows, etc.

Thanks again to all!

Susan, David and Jeannine,

Wow! The webpage and the poster look terrific! The poster should be quite an attention-grabber.
Kudos to everyone who contributed in some way to put it all together.

I'm so proud of you Susan for having the drive and desire to accomplish this, and a special thanks to everyone that got on board to make this dream of yours a reality. BRAVO!

Susan -

Great job ! ! !

Even though I am a newbie to this site, I have already sent e-mails out to all my family and friends pointing them in the direction to where they can send out an e-mail to their senators "to support the Lung Cancer Mortality Reduction Act".

I also will be delivering some flyer's to my favorite shopping mall parking lots this weekend.

Thank You for all your help in getting this much needed message out to the public.

Susan,

How do we thank you, your work is amazing as is the effort of those who have helped you. The eye will certainly be drawn to the poster, the color great. The words of fact chilling in a way I hope makes it difficult for anyone to dismiss.

I will take this to my Oncology appointment and ask the chest clinic education nurse if the clinic will make a place for these in the general Oncology waiting room. I will also put one up on my church bulletin board tomorrow, talk to my PCP about placement in their office, etc.

God bless you,
Toddy

Susan, the poster is wonderful, and the website is too. I clicked the link and finally emailed my senators about the bill. Thanks for making it so easy. I think all of us together can make a difference.

Susan,
All I can say is WOW!!! You and your compatriots have done a wonderful job!! I am heading out to our local office supply store to get some glossy paper. I will take a poster to every grocery store in town (well, that means 3.... small town!!!), community center, anywhere there is a bulletin board. Thanks for all of your hard work!

The poster and site is great !

If it is alright with everyone I would like to post it around wherever I can.

Hi Elly-Mae:
Please do - post it wherever you can.
Susan

Thanks, I will.

I will ask all of my friends to do the same. The more that know the better things will be, and hopefully the cure will be found soon. Thinking positive here.

You are a genius, my friend! I need to get some of these printed and out around town! I think I will have some printed in posted size and some printed as 8.5X11 for handouts.

This kind of creativity and grass roots effort will make a difference. Thank you.

WOW, WOW, and WOW...

What an attractive, comprehensive, and compelling poster you have created. I admire both your talent and your persistence.

Thank you on behalf of myself and others whose lung cancer may be found thanks to the information you have provided and the funding it generates

Peggy.

THANK YOU.... THANK YOU...... THANK YOU!!!!!! The poster is amazing. My mother, Gerry, is smiling down today, I can feel her with me looking over my shoulder. She would love the fact that she had a hand in providing information to educate people. She looks beautiful on the poster. My entire family thanks you again for all your hard work. I will print up the posters and put them up all over town!
