Did anyone get a Strange Email??

Did anyone receive a strange email from someone named Bianca?
I am cautious due to the message is looking for love and a friend and appears from out of the US. She said she got my email from Inspire, yet there is no mention of cancer or anything regarding our sight. Since I am very familiar with Nigerian letters and email frauds I am thinking this is possibly one.
I am not responding and if anyone else received one please be careful, as my job has just contributed to my suspicious nature.
Then again I could be wrong and this is a very nice person looking for a friend.

Yes I did. I got a response thank you on my personal email address from someone I did not send a post to. I couldnt tell you the name now I did a delete and block. It didn't come thru inspire so it got my attention immediately! Also, I couldn't locate the email address or name on inspire=hmmm

No, I haven't, but if I do, I'll let the site know as our email addresses should be private unless we give them out.

This message is spam and should be marked as such in whatever email program you use. Unfortunately, these scammers/spammers have started looking at the public posts on Inspire looking for email addresses to send these messages. I checked and this person is NOT a member of Inspire, therefore, they must have gotten your email from a public post.

We encourage everyone to never share their email addresses in posts but rather to use private messages if you wish to exchange email addresses with another member.

Each post has an icon in the header that indicates whether or not it is public and everyone can review their profile privacy preferences here:

Thanks to all, Like I said I am very familiar with these scams as my job was with Financial Intelligence.

I basically just wanted to get the warning out for others to beware.
