The Ones that know me know my dad was dx on June 4th this year with limited sclc. He went threw two round of chemo and 2 weeks of radiation. Then it was found in his bone marrow and all was stopped. The last 2 weeks of his life he ran away to the river in AZ. Tuesday the 2nd of Sept my husband and I had to hall butt out there cuz he had collapsed and refused o go to the hospital. I knew it was bad when we got there. Well He saw my hubbie and I and within min he was on his way to get platelets just so we could get him back home. We got him back home and he went into the Hospital won that Wednesday night. He faught hard as we prayed for his pain to go away and for him to let go. The onc said he wouldn't make til Sunday but being as stubborn as he is he did. We just missed the last breath by 2 min. My grandfather and great uncle my sister and I just missed it we all were on out way when my phone rang and it was Katie his nurse saying he was slowing down. We know he went and told him and he said awww heck no nobody is seeing this. Thank you everyone for your support threw this short but long time. And thank you for all you kind words and prayers. I am not sure how long this pain will last but I know i will always remember... Cathy
