I'm so sorry about your husband's pain. Your oncologist should be able to prescribe or recommend something effective for the pain. My mom was getting Alimta infusions, and her oncologist said she could take Aleve and she also used Lortab (oxycodone) for headaches. Some individuals don't tolerate certain drugs well, and then there are restrictions due to how the drugs interact. So you should call your husband's oncologist for help. There ARE ways to manage it. Good luck and hugs. Jen

Hi,
Your husband needs better pain management than he is getting. I suggest you call his doctor's office on Monday morning.

If the pain is just unbearable, then call the office number and get whomever is on call to phone a pharmacy. No one should have to suffer like this over a weekend.

Love to all,
Marylou

Go ahead all call.Marylou! is right and also that much Tylenol isn't good either.Prayers AndiB

thanks everyone! God Bless... I will make him call in the morning...I know there has got to be something out there stronger or as good as ibuprofen..
