My husband is 43 years old he was diagnosed with NSCLC and adenocarcinoma in March 2009. We discovered he had cancer when he complained of pains in his right leg. We underwent a hip replacement. Then mets progressed to his brain (had gamma knife), adrenlain glands and a few lymph nodes. We underwent two different treatments but nothing had worked.
His lungs have NO tumor, NO fluid and as the doctors say No point of origin. What does this mean. Why is his prognosis so bad (they told me no more than six months) if he has nothing in his lungs. They told this is one of the most rare forms.
Can anyone shed some light so that I can understand.
God bless.
Barbara
