I am again experiencing pains in my legs and feet. They have removed me from Taxol but informed me the side effects will last quite some time. I have been feeling more pain in my right side (upper and lower leg) and wonder if anyone has had experiences with clotting and what to look out for. I had an ultra sound about 4 weeks ago on my legs and it came out clear, but how long do clots take to form and again what are some signs.

please call your onc - clots can form in hours - generally, pain and swelling accompany - as you know, the ultrasound or doppler tests are quick and painless, and it would be better for you to know the right answer, no matter what it is....

I have been dealing with clots in my legs for over a year. My signs were like a severe charley hoarse in ankles and calfs. I take daily shots for them and my onc said its the cancer that causes them, not the treatment. So i will probably be on the shots indefinatly. Definatly get it checked out and dont let up!
