Anyone heard of top chemo meds for treating a recurring lung mets?
I'm not a medical person so I wouldn't really try to answer that. However, I'm not ARE asking. Since the type cancer, etc determines so much of what is chosen, could you give us a little more specific info so those who do have more knowlege could respond? I have a recurrence and I am now on Carbo and Gemzar. I was on Carbo, Taxol, Avastin and Tarceva as 1st line plus 37 rad treatments. I have primarily squamous so some drugs that work well for adeno don't work as well for me. My doc is recognized nationally so I think he chose whatever is the best for me at this time based on my specific situation. Good luck to you in finding the best for you!
