Cancer Treatment Center in San Ysidro Calif?

0 Recommendations

Has anyone heard anything or know anything about a cancer treatment center in San Ysidro Calif. or right across the border in Mexico. A friend of mine called yesterday with a little info on this place down in southern calif. A best western is there for people to stay in.....a bus takes you across the border into San Ysidro?....and you can just walk in to this treatment center and apparently they treat you with "amazing treatments and drugs" that the FDA will not approve apparently because though the FDA knows they work, they will not approve them for the USA because they want to make money off of all the cancer meds the pharmaceutical companies are selling.
Anyone know anything about this place? Cost?
Apparently my friends friend had several family members who had cancers of different types and they went there for treatments and their cancers were healed. I do not know if this is real....but I wanted to do some research on this place and get your input.
Anyone know anything??

These are the only Mexican clinics I could find.

Please be aware that conspiracy theories about the FDA withholding cures are probably not accurate. I'm sure people in the FDA are human beings who have relatives with cancer just like everyone else. Besides, there is a vast fortune to be made for anyone who can cure cancer because cancer is on the increase and the whole world would want to buy it.

You are exactly right. The only drugs approved for cancer are chemo type drugs and radiation. Outside of these are
non approved treatments that oncologists can get into trouble with treatment.

I take one such drug and it has saved my life when my oncologist told me he could no longer provide anything in his "tool kit" to save me. Luckily I found a safe, non toxic and low cost drug that saved my life.

I would encourage anyone to do your homework and seek out these "non approved" treatments for cancer as can save your life. Like the thousands that do take "LDN" it is a blessing...

There is a doctor named Vargas who practices out of a large hotel in Tijuana. A friend of mine went to him for treatment of Stage 3 Breast Cancer. His theory is that American doctors initially treat cancer too aggressively and leave no room for later treatment. So he treated my friend with low dose chemo and radiation over a period of 2 weeks (this was after radical mastectomy in the states). He put her on laetrile and took her off of most vitamins except for Vitamin A and D. Also told her to avoid sugar. She was thrilled that she didn't lose her hair.

Subsequent pet scans showed no hot spots for 9 months. Then, her cancer came back with metastasis to her spine. (Stage 4 ). At that point she hightailed it to the cancer center at Eisenhower Medical Center in Palm Springs. They did the full on chemo and radiation (yes, she lost her hair) and that treatment has put her back in remission for over a year. She goes back next month for new bone and pet scans and we are praying for her to come out clean again. She still takes Herceptin every month.

Asked if she would pursue the Mexico treatment again if she had to do it over she says no. Her feeling is that she might not have gone to Stage 4 if her cancer had been treated aggressively in the beginning.

I live just north of San Diego and Tijuana. Be very careful of the clinics and claims made. Although some are definitely legitimate there are also clinics that will just take your money. If you are going to travel and have hotel expenses, go to a major cancer center in the states. Because my friend had her experience in Mexico, my husband and I did not even consider that treatment even though it was very close. We even own a weekend house in Ensenada so it could have been convenient.

Remember that your immune system might be compromised by treatment and you do not want to be in a line of strangers trying to walk back across the border. It is easy to drive into Mexico on a bus but you have to walk across (and usually wait in a long line) to get back in the US unless you drive your own car.

Don't get me wrong, I love Mexico. I just personally wouldn't go for cancer treatment.
