90 day reprieve

0 Recommendations

Well folks, I seen the surgeon yesterday late, and although the spot on my lung is still there. It is to small and to soon to take any measures. Not even for sure its cancer, could be scar tissue. I don't understand why one Dr. scares the hell out of ya, and another sends you off saying "Don't worry, go and enjoy life". Of course I'll need to go back in 90 days and be retested to see growth or not and at that time a desicion or another reprieve will show on the path.

I need to try and stay positive and live one day at a time, I know this in my brain, but my heart is a little harder headed.... lol

Anyway I'm taking it as good news. I'm praying for you all and hope you have a wonderful day. Lets all try and remember God loves us warts and all.

Keep up the positive attitude. It is what keeps me going. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Blessings

Yep, I know what you mean. After being sick for almost a month, one doc does not like 2 lymph nodes with slight uptake 2.6 mm, and the other doctor says, yeah it's probably because of the infections you have been suffering with.

And so, I am on Prednisone and another antibiotic and will see the Oncologist again next month. The Onc wants another PET/CT scan done in December. Bet it will be gone unless somebody else brings home unwanted germs.

Sending you good thoughts and prayers,
Marylou

Yippee! Enjoy your 90 days off. One day at a time does make sense for folks like us ... always teetering on the edge of the unknown. But, we're alive today and that counts for a LOT. Hang in there ... sending you hugs and prayers ... Deb

Pipeliner, I am no stranger to living from scan to scan and the truth is, you get used to it. Sucks sometimes, but if my life has to be measured in three month increments (now it's two month), so be it. LIve it up in the meantime and keep that positive attitude. Linnea

Thank you one and all for all the support. This is something I have not been able to find anywhere else! God bless us every one.
