All Who Live The Mystry Illness

This was written before my actual diagnosis of SPS. Written in August 16, 2007. Another call for help gone on through deaf ears and revolving doors. This, once again showing my desperation to be heard. When I went for psychological help all that was available was emergency substance abus counciling , shelter need, or domestic violence with a need to move for safety reasons. There was nothing to provide relief from the abuses of a system that just would not listen or care.
i could not give a name to the various and odd ways my body reacted. I was not diagnosed. I was confused myself by now. Yes, I had been to many doctors so if there was something seriously wrong as I claim they would have found it. Trust your doctors, they know what's best. So out of anything left to say I wrote this and gave it to the Mental Health Crisis Unit in Prince George BC., Canada before I left the office to show my confused state of mind and screaming for help. Nothing came of it:

Might Have/ Might need/Might Not

Might have a physical disability, might not
Might have a mental illness, might not
Might have some of both, might not
Might have a good grasp on reality, might not
Might need medications, might not
Might need a psychiatrist, might not
Might need medical attention, might not
Might have cancer, might not
Might have a rare blood disorder, might not
Might need a support group to share with, might not
Might have emotional problems, might not
Might have bladder incontinence, might not
Might have bowel incontinence, might not
Might need mechanical aids, might not
Might need to prepare for the future as a person with disabilities, might not
Might be delusional about my physical state, might not
Might have Cauda Equina Syndrome, might not (already diagnosed in 1995)
Might have pernicious anemia, might not (diagnosed in 2004)
Might be an alcoholic, might not
Might be a drug addict, might not
Might need B12 injections, might not
Might have liver problems, might not
Might be getting sicker by the day, might not
Might need to forget the past and move on but then I can't answer your questions.

Every "might" was a doctor's opinion. I doubted my own sanity. Believe yourself. A doctor may have spent years in school but he did not spend it studying you! More recently I find the younger doctors willing to admit to spending little if any time on rare conditions and often have forgotten the name, symptoms or what it all may mean. many, of course they have never heard of. They actually show open interest in learning more than putting on a cover up of their ignorance and by doing so ruin many lives.
