I never knew

I have several physical issues one being a diseased liver which is very swollen. Sometimes I experience pain there. I have never been told much more as since I don't drink it was a puzzle and I had not been diagnosed with any of my physical disorders. I was sent to a few psychiatrists who said all my emotional problems were directly related to my not getting medical care for my ailments. I believe it is part and parcel of one of my "rare" disorders. For years they had me convinced I was imagining or exaggerating things. Now 12 years later I have all kinds of serious physical problems due to neglect.

I am concerned about my liver and the progression of the disease but no one knows what to tell me and my reputation as a medical complainer has not helped.

I have Stiff Person's Syndrome, cauda equina Syndrome, pernicious anemia, a diseased liver and who knows what else has developed by now. Around here I am just a curiosity and a freak. No doctor where I live cares to explore these syndromes they know nothing about. I am moving next week closer to a bigger city where I was told I would be helped. I feel so sick all the time like it is my blood that is sick.

This has always bothered me since I was told in 2005 but no one "my doctor" has cared or seems concerned.
