Doxil Question ...
Has anyone taken Doxil and did you take the preventative steps they are asking me to do...
No hot food or drink starting the day before chemo and for six days after
Soaking my hands and feet in ice three times a day (not sure I can tolerate that)
No binding clothing (in other words sweats)
No socks or gloves
Not hot showers, no dishwashing, no sex.
Seems like the list goes on and on, and I'm wondering if the preventative measures help with the hand/foot syndrome.
I am willing to do what's needed but....um it's cold here in Ohio already let alone be soaking my extremities in cold!
